2026 NextGen Seminar

The NextGen Seminar will take place on Tuesday, June 16 as a standalone, one-day event for trainees only. The event is hosted by the UC San Diego Glycobiology Reserach and Training Center (GRTC).

Registration

Registration includes admission to NextGen meeting, lunch, and happy hour. There will be no cost for trainees to attend the NextGen Seminar, however registration is still required.

Abstract Submission

Trainee presentations are selected from a pool of submitted abstracts.  To be considered to present during NextGen, indicate your intention on the registration form and submit your abstract by May 8.  

The NextGen committee comprised of young investigators, with the support of the GRTC Co-Directors, will select abstracts for 15-minute oral presentations + 5 min Q&A. Committee decisions will be emailed by May 22. There will be a Trainee Speaker Award for best oral presentation. Presentation slots are limited.
