Below is the list of Hematopathology services offered by our Comparative Phenotyping Core. If you would like to see the methods we use in our facility, please visit our Protocols page.We strongly recommended that you consult with a trained hematologist for help with planning experiments that will need hematological or coagulation analyses. Other services such as platelet aggregometry and additional serum chemistry analyses are available upon request. Due to the preciousness of samples and time-sensitive nature of sample processing, we also strongly recommend that you contact us in advance to confirm service availability.

Hematology
Complete Blood Count
Special Considerations: This service is only available locally (San Diego County), as samples are only viable 4 hours after collection. Overnight shipping of samples will not be accepted.

Comprehensive Metabolic Blood Panel
Special Considerations: This type of service is available to local collaborative projects only. The minimum volume required for one panel is 300 μL. Fasting may affect results; prior to sampling, plan accordingly for time of food intake or restriction.
